Abstract

This article reports the reality faced in personal and family control in the receipt and use, control and application of financial resources of the people who are part of a poor community on the outskirts of the metropolitan region of São Paulo. The research was conducted through a questionnaire answered by community members, and the results show the potential and possible weak points to be developed through talks on finances.
